Our mission
At JerseySTEM, we believe in the power of community and collaboration. Our mission is to bridge the STEM gap for underrepresented communities, particularly Hispanic youth. By partnering with Hispanic Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), we aim to inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders. Underrepresented middle school girls in New Jersey face limited access to STEM Education. Without intervention these barriers reduce their confidence and future opportunities in STEM – driven economy, widening gender and socioeconomic gaps.
Partnering with JerseySTEM empowers your ERG to make a lasting impact by providing underrepresented middle school girls — especially young Latinas — with access to STEM enrichment programs. Together, we can bridge educational gaps in New Jersey communities with low math proficiency and high absenteeism, inspire confidence in future leaders, and build a more diverse and inclusive STEM workforce!
