At JerseySTEM, we believe in the power of community and collaboration. Our mission is to bridge the STEM gap for communities, with a special focus on empowering women and girls. By partnering with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Women-led organizations, and advocates, we aim to inspire the next generation of female innovators and leaders, and changemakers.
We focus on advancing career potential and volunteer opportunities for Employees, creating meaningful allyship programs, honoring Black Heritage through events, campaigning, and bridge educational gaps contributing to the after-school programs.
Underrepresented middle school girls in New Jersey face significant barriers in accessing STEM education and careers. Without intervention, these barriers reduce their confidence and limit their opportunities in a STEM-driven economy, widening gender and socioeconomic gaps.
JerseySTEM in collaboration with the Black Community Employee Resource Groups is a space for connection, professional growth, and cultural celebration.
