Thanks to the generous support of the Wipro Foundation, JerseySTEM has been able to deliver transformative STEM programs to middle school girls. Here are some highlights of our impactful initiatives:
Fall 2024
Coding Program at Robert Treat Academy
15 middle school girls participated in a 10-week, 20-hour coding club. Through this program, students learned essential skills such as Design Thinking, Computational Logic and Teamwork. This hands-on experience not only introduced them to the fundamentals of coding but also encouraged creativity, problem-solving and collaboration.
Spring 2024

Student Achievement Championship
The students’ hard work and dedication culminated in their participation in the FutureCity State Championship during the academic year 2024-25. This prestigious competition showcased their innovative projects and demonstrated the incredible potential of young minds when given access to quality STEM education.

JerseySTEM MySTEMClub hosts inspiring “Wipro Cares STEMTalks” with Carol Tyler.
To celebrate International Women’s month, JerseySTEM’s MySTEMClub welcomed Carol Tyler, a leader at Wipro specializing in change management and technology adoption, for an engaging and motivational STEMTalk session at Robert Treat Academy’s Jackie Robinson campus.
The event provided our students with valuable insights into STEM career development, personal growth strategies, and real-world inspiration.It culminated in an impressive student technology demonstration, where MySTEMClub participants showcased robots they had programmed to perform various tasks.
